Is there anybody out there who doesn’t have a soft spot for Hairy McCleary or Winnie The Pooh? Lynley Dodd’s now infamous Hairy McCleary character was first published in 1983 by Puffin. The Blue Island Press cards are illustrations from her books.

Blue Island Press are producing gorgeous small cards, wrap, bookmarks and bookplates for kids (or adults). The delightful illustrations created by E.H.Shepard accompanied the Winne-the-Pooh stories by A.A.Milne. They conjour memories of childhood, and it’s wonderful to see they are being enjoyed by new generations of children. Pooh Bear is alive and well!
