Sowing a Bit of Colour in Your Life - Jo Luping Design
Now is the perfect time to sew some colour into your house and garden as we come out of the winter months and look towards summer. In terms of your flower garden plant up colourful flowers such as Marigolds. Marigolds have many benefits including acting as a natural insect repellent so they are perfect to plant together with tomatoes in my Large Ecofelt 7 Gallon Growbag. These planting containers are made from Upcycled plastic bottles and so help reduce the plastic problem we are faced with. In addition they are very light, making it easy to move them if need be.
From Garden to Table
September is the perfect time to plant new season herbs directly into your garden or into my Small Ecofelt Growbags. I like to have my herbs in the kitchen so I can use them while cooking. The Ecofelt Growbags are useful and add a stylish design element into any kitchen. Each bag is made from Upcycled plastic bottles thus reducing the negative plastic problem on our planet.
Coriander is a fabulous herb to have on hand as it can be included in many dishes especially one of our family favourites, Vietnamese spring rolls.
