Drawing The Way

Marce & Lea are ‘Drawing the Way’. They love driving around drawing, painting, and being part of the rebellious system - the one that does something with their hands, that is offline, and the one that in this AI time chooses to be human. Their hand-drawn maps of New Zealand towns are unique, offering a fresh perspective highlighting special attractions and features.

Live Wires is Proud to announce the release of the 1000 Piece Puzzle of their popular Queenstown map.

Marce & Lea lived in Wanaka for four years, and they used to travel frequently to Queenstown. They loved walking by the lake on sunny days and always stopped at Patagonia, their favourite ice cream shop. They’d visit friends and go skiing at The Remarkables. That’s why they created this hand‑drawn map, highlighting Queenstown township with the Gondola, the luge tracks, the waterfront, and all the buildings they could find. It took them around three months to complete, finishing it off with digital colouring using a pad and pencil.
