Rachel Ellen Designs

Rachel and her husband Justin, set up Rachel Ellen Designs back in 1997. Both are retired ballet dancers. Rachel started hand painting cards at her kitchen table in London. Interest in Rachel’s unique style and products grew. They moved back to Nottingham where, with the help of her parents, the couple took over an old Victorian Mill building and put their energy into growing the business.

Their hard work paid off and the company thrived, now employing 30 people! 

Rachel’s charming hand painted style is instantly recognisable. Her drive to be creative and her attention to detail, alongside her insistence on quality, have been the key factors making their company what it is today – one of the leading UK publishers and market leaders in children’s gifts and cards.

Rachel’s designs are transferred onto kids aprons, storage tins, writing sets and lots of great gift ideas for children that you’ll find on our website.

Rachel Ellen Designs have won numerous awards, is sold around the UK and to over 30 countries worldwide, including to Live Wires here in New Zealand. We have been selling their products here at Live Wires for many years and this popular, delightful range is going from strength to strength.
