The Little Dog Laughed, always going the extra mile to create a smile

The sibling owned card and gift company based in sunny Derby, was created on a simple ethos, to design nice things that add a smile to someone’s day. Two decades on, The Little Dog Laughed’s aims remain the same. With watchwords of humour, honesty and quality, it really doesn’t get any more complicated than that. Their products are found in various independent gift shops and garden centres around the UK, Scandinavia, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Company founder and designer Anna Danielle, claims to be a truly “lucky duck” who gets to combine her passion for illustration and love of animals on a daily basis.

Her brothers Gavin and Nathan are joint owners with Anna. Both have a keen sense of humour and have brought their skills to the company, but Anna apparently gets the final say on everything! They are all dog lovers and their office has a collection of them – much of the humour and illustrations born from their joint in-house experiences.
